It's important to have trust in your trainer when embarking on a course like Forest School, so here is a bit about me:

I have been delivering Forest School Training for over ten years in Essex
I have over 30 years experience of outdoor learning in Essex
I qualified as a Forest School Leader in 2008, and delivered Forest School for 20 years with groups of all ages and abilities
I deliver my courses under Cambium Sustainable to ensure quality through providing regular training and standardisation to over 40 Forest School trainers
I work part time for Cambium Sustainable as a Forest School trainer assessor and internal quality assurance assessor
I am a Trustee for Forest School Association; I am on the steering group for Essex Forest School Association and helped to organise and run the last few Forest School Association conferences.
Forest School Training Essex has been created because I believe passionately in the benefits of the natural environment for learning, play, health and mental wellbeing benefits that occur through nature connection.
What is my training like?
- community: I provide ongoing support for all my past and present trainees and I have cohorts going back years that have formed strong support networks.
- immersion in the natural world: I deliver training outside in a beautiful woodland setting with cover from the elements
- inclusive: I support all trainees however is best for them to succeed. Please get in touch with me to discuss your individual needs
